While Gwen enjoyed a peaceful time at home, Blake partied with his game show competitors despite his ‘hard’ New Year’s resolution.
GWEN Stefani has flaunted her brand-new beauty products in a series of videos.
The No Doubt alum took to her Instagram Stories on Wednesday and filmed dozens of luxury self-care gifts.
In the posts, Gwen, 54, filmed a range of skincare and hair products from different brands, most of which were still fresh in their boxes.
Adding high-energy pop music to the clips, Gwen showed off haircare from JVN, which she took out of the boxes just for the social media post.
She then revealed a selection of new pieces from pimple and acne brand Starface, followed by hydrating products from the Outset.
Finishing up, The Voice star panned over unopened fancy deodorants from Nez.
While Gwen showed off her beauty products in the bathroom at home, her husband Blake Shelton, 47, was having fun partying away on his game show, Barmageddon.
In a new post from the show based on bar games, Blake posed with his female friends – reality television star Nikki Glaser, 39, and fellow Barmageddon host Nikki Garcia, 49.
He was also joined by host Carson Daly, 50, and competitor Al Madrigal, 52.
The group was dressed casually and stood with their arms around each other, all sporting huge smiles.
Many of the squad also clutched red solo cups, hinting at some behind-the-scenes partying.
PARTY BOY?
Blake didn’t hold a cup in the pic, after opening up about struggling to cut out alcohol during an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
He admitted his New Year’s resolution was to “either cut back or stop drinking altogether.”
He revealed, “I haven’t managed to stop drinking yet. That’s been, you know, even cutting back has been hard.”
Despite his goal, the singer has almost completed the creation of a huge new country music bar, Ole Red, in Las Vegas.
A blogger in Vegas took to Instagram with a tour of fans the 3-floor venue, which also boasts a rooftop space.
The 19,000 square-foot bar is Blake’s sixth location of the Ole Red chain, and his first on the West Coast.
Blogger Daniel Leo showed off the multiple bars and dance floors, two balconies, and rooftop deck in the clip, with workers still completing finishing touches.
ROCKY ROAD
Even before Gwen holed up at home and Blake turned his focus on his fun show and business, the couple spent New Year’s Eve in different timezones.
The country singer spent the evening performing at WinStar World Casino – which sits between Oklahoma and Texas.
Gwen, on the other hand, spent her night at an event in Las Vegas, Nevada.
After the holiday, a source spoke to Life & Style claiming that Blake was “really upset” and “disappointed” that he couldn’t spend the night with his wife.
Their insider also claimed that they were going through a rough patch, saying, “Gwen and Blake’s marriage is definitely in trouble.
“Lately, they’ve been at odds about everything from career decisions and the parenting of her three boys to where they spend most of their time.”
They concluded, “The tension continues to grow, and Blake and Gwen are drifting apart as a result.”
