Colombian actress Sofia Vergara has succeeded in obtaining a restraining order for her and her son against a persistent stalker, identified as Gregory Brown.
As reported by “TMZ”, Sofia accuses Brown of being a “mentally unstable stalker” who claims to know her and her 32-year-old son Manolo, insinuating a relationship with her and her family.
The ruling means the stalker must stay at least 100 yards away from her and her son, and prohibits Brown from making contact with Sofia Vergara or any other member of her family.
Brown sent Vergara a letter
Most recently, in November, Vergara said Brown sent her a disturbing letter in the mail, stating that “he’ll be seeing and hearing her very soon, my love,” and signing off as “Gangsta.”
It should be noted that Gregory Brown was already arrested and jailed earlier this year for breaking and entering and vandalizing Sofia Vergara’s property, in addition to having made multiple attempts to approach the star’s family.
