Pink Postpones Concerts Due To Urgent Medical Issue
Girls who want to see Pink perform “So What” will have to wait a little longer.
The singer of “Just Give Me a Reason” said on social media that her shows on Oct. 17 and 18 have been canceled because of “family medical issues.”
“I am so sorry to inform the Tacoma ticket holders that the two shows October 17 and October 18 (tomorrow and Wednesday) will be postponed,” the singer wrote.
She also said that LiveNation is working on setting new dates for the events. “Family medical issues require our immediate attention. I send everyone my sincerest apologies for any inconvenience this has caused. I am sending nothing but love and health to all.”
When EW asked Pink’s representatives for feedback, they didn’t answer right away.
The singer is in the middle of her Summer Carnival tour, which will end in Townsville, Australia, in the spring after more than 20 more shows.
Along with Pink’s ninth studio record, Trustfall, which came out in February, the tour began in June in Bolton, England.
Pink had to move her show in Arlington, Texas, from September 29 to November 26 because she had a lung infection.
“I am so disappointed. You know I do everything in my power to never miss a show,” she wrote on Instagram at the time. “I hope to see you then, and again, am so deeply sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.”
Pink’s fans have done some strange things during the tour. At a London show, one person threw their mother’s ashes onstage, and at another, someone gave the singer a huge wheel of cheese.
We’re praying that everything is well with the singer and her family, and we wish them a speedy recovery!
