Matt Damon’s kids: Meet his 4 daughters with wife Luciana Barroso
Matt Damon is a devoted girl dad.
The actor’s wife, Luciana Barroso, was already a mother to daughter Alexia when they met in 2003 in Miami.
Damon became the little one’s stepfather when he married the bartender two years later.
The couple got married two years later.
Since their December 2005 destination wedding in the Caribbean, the couple has gone on to welcome daughters Isabella, Gia and Stella.
Being a parent has helped Damon’s acting in terms of making his emotions more “accessible,” he explained to Fatherly in 2021.

Alexia Barroso
Luciana gave birth to Alexia in 1999, and her eldest child’s father is ex-husband Arbello Barroso.
Damon considers himself an “extra dad” to Alexia, with the Oscar winner telling Parade in 2020 that he “jumped into the deep end” of fatherhood when he met her mom.
He gushed, “The only way I can describe it – it sounds stupid, but – at the end of ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas,’ you know how his heart grows, like, five times its size? Everything is full. It’s just full all the time.”
He previously told Hello! Canada that helping raise Alexia was not a “choice” but rather “just the way it was” (via People).
In 2009, she made a cameo in one of her stepdad’s movies “We Bought a Zoo.”
Alexia stepped out for a rare red carpet appearance with Damon and her sisters in July 2023 for the “Oppenheimer” premiere.
Isabella Damon
Damon and Luciana’s first child together, daughter Isabella, was born in June 2006.While the teenager rarely is in the public eye — besides her dad’s “Air” premiere in March 2023 — Damon has divulged details about her over the years.
He admitted to Sunday Express that being “awake all night with her as a newborn” actually “help[ed]” while filming “Bourne Ultimatum.”
The Golden Globe winner called her the “funniest person” in a 2021 E! News interview, saying she liked to use his worst-reviewed movies as “ammunition” for jokes.
He revealed her love for Harry Styles later that same year.
Isabella graduated from high school in Brooklyn in June 2024, with her parents and sister Stella photographed in attendance at the time.
Gia Damon
Gia joined the family in August 2008.
She has joined her father on the road while he filmed various movies, including “True Grit” in New Mexico, “Invictus” in Africa and “The Last Duel” in Ireland.
Along with Alexia and Stella, Gia was present at the “Oppenheimer” premiere.
Stella Damon
Damon and Luciana completed their family with daughter Stella’s arrival in October 2010, a couple of weeks ahead of her due date.The “Stillwater” star joked to “Entertainment Weekly” the following month that his older children’s lives didn’t “stop” when Stella was born.
“We came home from the hospital the other night, and we were up with the baby and the alarm went off,” he explained. “And I realized, ‘Oh, s—t, I’ve got to take the other kids to school!’”
