Liza Minnelli’s condition has surprised some in celebrity world, as it has emerged that she is living rather isolated and secluded.
Minnelli is living alone at home at 77 years old, surrounded by her dogs, favorite movies and her memories from a life well lived.
However, there aren’t other people there, nobody to share those things with, and she is also receiving round the clock care at her home.
Minnelli doesn’t leave the house much these days, as her condition has deteriorated, which is a shame for someone whom spent their entire life in the spotlight.
There was brief hope of a final goodbye on stage
RadarOnline.com has learned that whilst Minnelli has become isolated and doesn’t leave the house much, there was still some hope that she would return to the stage for a final goodbye.
“Liza doesn’t leave home much anymore,” an inside told the National Enquirer. “She’s surrounded by her dogs, her favorite movies and her memories.
“She has spent a lifetime making other people happy, now it’s time to focus on herself.”
The plans to return to the stage were loose, at best, however Minnelli did desire a brief return in order to say goodbye to both fans and life in the public eye.
Minnelli has dementia and reports are that her is getting worse, making it likely that an appearance on stage would be pretty much impossible anyway.
