DAME Julie Andrews has been spotted using a cane while recently walking around The Hamptons in a fashionable look.
The British actress was photographed shortly after Bridgerton, the Netflix series she narrates, released the first half of its Season 3 episodes last week.
Julie, 88, was seen walking through The Hamptons, New York in a beige, floral-patterned top and tan slacks.
She accessorized her outfit with a flowy white scarf that loosely hung around her neck, white sneakers, and a pair of earrings.
The Academy Award-winning actress used a brown cane to help her move as she was photographed on the sidewalk and in the crosswalk.
Julie appeared to be in good spirits as she shopped around the vacation hot spot.
JULIE’S LATEST GIG
Julie has had an extremely successful career, known for her starring role in films such as The Sound of Music, Mary Poppins, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and The Princess Diaries.
Most recently, her voice can be heard on the historical romance series Bridgerton, which is currently in its newest season on Netflix.
Julie plays the unseen Lady Whistledown, who is a gossip columnist serving as the series narrator.
While speaking about the series on Today in 2022, Julie admitted she was “thrilled” to be a part of the steamy Netflix drama.
“I think it’s gorgeous looking, and they’re all wonderful in it and they’re lovely people to work with,” she first said of her co-stars.
“Shonda Rhimes and the whole gang down, they’re terrific. And I’m thrilled that they asked me,” Julie added.
FUTURE OF BRIDGERTON
The popular show has garnered a massive fanbase since its Season 1 release in 2020.
While the first part of Season 3 was just released on May 15, storylines for future seasons are already in the works.
The series showrunner, Jess Brownell, is reportedly working with writers and coming up with ideas for the fifth season of the show.
“There are a couple of clues at the end of the new season which might give people some idea of where we’re headed in the next couple of seasons, so perhaps they can pick over that,” Jess told the Write On podcast.
