As the saying goes, you can take Jenny off the block but you can’t take the block off Jenny. Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez accepted that she can still be very possessive when it comes to her personal life, especially with her husband, actor Ben Affleck.
JLo isn’t afraid to admit that she gets jealous when other women flirt with Affleck. During an appearance on “Today With Hoda & Jenna,” Lopez played a game called “This Is Me… Now, or Then?” where she answered questions about herself now or in the past.
When asked if she gets jealous if someone hits on her significant other, Lopez held up a paddle with the word “NOW” written on it. She jokingly warned women to stay away from Affleck, saying, “Don’t play with me. Do not play with me.”
First of all, the songstress admited that “I’m a lover not a figther,” that is why, if someone started flirting with her husband, she would handle it in a “very elegant and lady-like way” by letting them know to “step all the way off.”
Her relationship with Affleck makes her feel fulfilled
This isn’t the first time Lopez has shown her protective side over Affleck. Last November, she jokingly told fans to “back off b*tch” after they swooned over him.
Jennifer and Ben tied the knot in July 2022, and Lopez has been vocal about how Affleck makes her feel. She has said that he makes her feel “more beautiful than” she ever had in her life.
In a previous interview for Voge magazine, JLo assured her relationship with the actor has brought out the best in her. “Ben wants me to understand my worth and know my value. I feel even more relaxed and comfortable,” she said.
Jen is mulling saying goodbye to music
In other news, Jennifer Lopez is back in the music scene after 10 years with her new album “This is me… Now.” The album is considered a sequel to her 2002 album “This is me… Then” and marks the end of an era for Lopez in music.
While promoting her new album, Lopez revealed that she feels fulfilled and doesn’t see herself returning to the recording studio in the near future. She is currently filming a movie called “Unstoppable,” based on the book by wrestler Anthony Robles.
It seems that Lopez is embracing new beginnings in both her personal and professional life, and fans can’t wait to see what she does next.
