Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s honeymoon stage is over, and the couple needs to adjust their behavior to make their marriage last, according to a source.

Affleck, 51, and Lopez, 54, will celebrate their second wedding anniversary in July. However, their marriage is reportedly under pressure as the actor films the “Accountant” sequel in Los Angeles while the actress-singer pursues her career in New York City.

“This is the first long stretch they’ve spent apart in a while,” an unnamed source told Life & Style. “And they’re both dealing with it in different ways.”

Due to the distance, Lopez was reportedly being “increasingly needy.” However, the “Justice League” actor was not always in the mood to give her the constant affirmation she wanted, according to the tipster.

“She wants constant affirmation from him that she’s loved and adored,” the insider added. “But she’s not getting much of that now, and Ben gets defensive and moody.”

“The honeymoon is definitely over. The feeling is if they want to stay married, they both need to make some adjustments in their behavior.”

Another insider told the outlet that Lopez and Affleck hit a rough patch due to her career roadblocks. Lopez’s 2024 album “This Is Me…Now,” film “This Is Me… Now: A Love Story” and documentary “The Greatest Story Never Told” didn’t live up to the expectations. Her critics blamed her for her alleged “fall from grace.”

“Jennifer’s fall from grace has been coming for a while, and it’s really all her fault because she’s the one driving it,” another source said. “She lives in a world of make-believe, and people aren’t buying the act anymore. They’re labeling her a phony and narcissist and someone who’s tone-deaf to the real world around her.”

Lopez admitted that they split in 2003 due to excessive media attention. She released the documentary to turn the tables by sharing their love story from her perspective. The “Marry Me” actress had been warned by her pals about the project, which she self-funded.

Actress Jane Fonda spoke with her manager, Benny Medina, and said she was concerned Lopez would present their romance like it was so “sacrosanct.” Fonda also suggested that it should be “handled in a way that you aren’t overly flaunting it, so much so that it creates any form of criticism or resentment.”
