J.Lo and Ben Affleck’s marriage: What we know about her ‘biggest fan’ and new album
The pair reconciled in 2022
Jennifer Lopez sees Ben Affleck as the perfect man to give his opinion on her new music as she prepares to release her new album.
Lopez‘s ninth record is due to be released on February 16, and the Puerto Rican superstar, 54, is enjoying married life with Affleck, 51. A source has told People Magazine that the couple remain loved up some 18 months into their marriage after rekindling their romance in 2021.
“It’s been the perfect time to focus on a new album. She’s loved creating new music. She’s very excited [about] it,” the source is quoted saying.
“Ben’s proud of her. He’s her biggest fan. He loves how hard working and focused she is.”
At the beginning of January, Lopez dropped a new single ‘Can’t Get Enough’, along with the music video ahead of her ‘This is Me… Now’ record. And when the singer needed advice, she turned to the Gone Girl actor.
“Not that he’s ever really made videos or anything like that, but I just trust his opinion and his ideas,” Lopez said. “Nobody kind of knows my story or me more than he does. I really feel like he gets me and he understands me, obviously.”
What we know about Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s relationship
Lopez and Affleck appear to be smitten with each other after moving on from the collapse of their respective marriages.
Lopez is a three-time divorcee, having married Ojani Noa, Cris Judd and Marc Anthony before reuniting with Affleck, who split with Jennifer Garner in 2018 after 13 years of marriage.
They initially got together in 2022 and even planned to tie the knot before mutually deciding to break off their engagement in 2004. However, they reconciled in 2021 and married in July 2022.
Any concerns over another split have been quashed after enjoying a family-dominated Christmas time in which their families have blended well. Lopez has been seen in public with Affleck‘s daughter, Violet, whom he shares with Garner.
“Their family life is great too,” the source added. “The kids are all friends. They get along really well.”
