Halle Berry says Pierce Brosnan ‘restored her faith in men’ after going through two divorces
She’s had her fair share of bitter relationships, with some ending in divorce, restraining orders and lawsuits.
But Halle Berry said Pierce Brosnan ‘restored her faith in men’ after they starred in a James Bond film together.
The actress, 58, played Bond Girl Jinx in Die Another Day alongside Brosnan, 71.
The 2002 film was Brosnan’s last appearance of 007 after a seven-year run which started in 1995.
Between 1992 and 1996 Ms Berry was married to baseball player David Justice.

The marriage ended in a tenuous divorce which saw Justice accused of being abusive to Ms Berry – claims he has since denied.
When they divorced in 1997, Ms Berry filed for a restraining order against Justice, alleging that he had lingered outside their home for four hours ‘demanding entry’ to retrieve some of his things.
Between 1999 and 2003 Ms Berry dated Eric Benet whom she had to confront for his infidelity during filming Die Another Day in London.
‘He will always be my Bond, always,’ Ms Berry said in an interview with Wired.
‘I’m a Pierce Brosnan fan. He restored my faith in men on that movie. There couldn’t be a human who is more of a gentleman than Pierce Brosnan.
‘Bond wasn’t on my wish list, no, not to be in one, but I loved the movies, always. Having been in one, I feel like I’m a part of cinematic history.
‘Those movies are iconic. They will forever be a part of our history, and I’m really honored to have been a part of one, especially with Pierce.’
Ms Berry’s Jinx in Die Another Day proved to be such a fan favorite among Bond fans that franchise producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson started planning for Ms Berry to get her own spinoff movie.

But Variety reported in 2020: ‘The plan was foiled when MGM got cold feet about the film’s $80 million budget.’
Ms Berry is now with Van Hunt, a Grammy award winning musician.
They made their red carpet debut together in 2021 and have recently been rumoured to be engaged and even tied the knot.
Ms Berry also shares daughter Nahla with model Gabriel Aubry who, she was with between 2006 and 2010.
She also has son Maceo with French actor Olivier Martinez whom she was with between 2010 and 2015.
