BUSY BLAKE Blake Shelton’s Las Vegas bar’s opening date revealed as new career plan comes amid Gwen Stefani ‘marriage issues’
With details on Blake’s new bar and why he and Gwen are “drifting apart”
SINGER Blake Shelton has officially revealed the opening date for his new bar on the Las Vegas strip.
Blake, 47, announced his all-in-one bar, performance venue, and restaurant Ole Red would be opening its new Las Vegas location on January 15.
“LAS VEGAS, Y’ALL READY?!” the caption on Ole Red’s Instagram post read as it unveiled the date.
The exciting news comes as many fans have suspected marital issues between the singer and his wife Gwen Stefani, 54.
Ole Red already has five successful locations running across Oklahoma, Florida, and Tennessee, and Blake is now ready to open his next location for his growing franchise on Monday.
According to documents obtained by The U.S. Sun from the Clark County Business License office, Ole Red was recently granted two temporary licenses.
The first license is for food and restaurant services and the second is the liquor license.
A Las Vegas-based blogger gave fans an inside look at the construction process at Ole Red, which showed multiple bars, dance floors, stages, two balconies, and a rooftop deck.
SEPARATE ROADS?
Along with his brand new bar opening, Blake has also been focused on other business ventures since stepping down from his longtime coaching position on The Voice after season 23 last year.
Earlier this week, the country music star announced he would be performing at a rodeo show in Houston, Texas on February 27.
Blake is also gearing up for his Back to the Honky Tonk National Tour that kicks off in February, making stops all over the country.
Aside from performing, Blake also produces and hosts his bar-themed celebrity game show, Barmageddon.
In the meantime, his famous wife has been focusing on her beauty business back at home.
The former No Doubt lead singer filed a trademark for a new pop-up beauty store for her cosmetics line, GXVE Beauty.
The U.S. Sun exclusively reported that Gwen is planning to open GS Beauty Bar, according to the application she filed on November 13, 2023.
MARRIAGE TROUBLES
Chatter has been brewing that the couple’s relationship is on the rocks as they’ve been spending more time apart.
The two met in 2014 as coaches on The Voice and tied the knot in July 2021.
Fans first noticed hints they might be parting ways in late December when Gwen, 54, wiped her social media profile of all photos of Blake.
They again had fans worried when they spent New Year’s Eve apart, with Blake performing in Nashville, Tennessee, and Gwen hosting a party in Las Vegas.
After the holiday, a source spoke to Life & Style claiming that Blake was “really upset” and “disappointed” that he couldn’t spend the night with his wife.
“Gwen and Blake’s marriage is definitely in trouble,” the insider alleged.
“Lately, they’ve been at odds about everything from career decisions and the parenting of her three boys to where they spend most of their time.
“The tension continues to grow, and Blake and Gwen are drifting apart as a result,” they concluded.
The duo did spend the week before together at a ski resort in Utah with Gwen’s three boys, whom she shares with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale, 58.
However, photos captured by TMZ showed the pair looking tense, and Blake didn’t accompany Gwen and the kids on the slopes.
