Known for starring in ‘Supernatural’, a TV show on HBO Max, Mark Sheppard has experienced one of the worst moments of his life after suffering six heart attacks in just 24 hours.
The actor told the story on his Instagram account, where he posted an image and gave details about how he had to be resuscitated up to four times. “My chances of survival were practically nil,” he said on his profile.
The 59-year-old explained how it all happened, from the first heart attack to his time in hospital. “You won’t believe this! Yesterday I was about to leave for an appointment when I collapsed in my kitchen,” he began.
Six heart attacks and four resuscitations
“Six massive heart attacks later and after being resuscitated four times, I had a 100% blockage in my left anterior descending artery,” he continued, before thanking the staff at St Joseph’s Hospital for their work.
“If it wasn’t for my wife and the amazing staff at the hospital I wouldn’t be writing this. My chances of survival were virtually nil. I feel great,” he said in his post.
