Drena De Niro, the oldest daughter of legendary actor Robert De Niro, marked her father’s 81st birthday by sharing a playful and heartwarming video on Instagram.
The post featured the “Goodfellas” star taking a daring leap off a yacht into the ocean, a moment that captured both his adventurous spirit and their close bond.
In the video, the shirtless Robert De Niro, dressed in red-and-blue striped Vilebrequin swim shorts, jumped off the yacht headfirst. However, the actor ended up hitting the water on his back, prompting concern from his daughter. “He’s so crazy. Oh my God. Oh my God. Are you alright?” Drena asked as her father resurfaced from the water. The dad of seven quickly reassured her. “I’m OK,” he replied. Drena playfully called her father “sick” and “crazy” for his daring jump. Curious about the height of the leap, she asked a yacht employee, who confirmed that Robert had jumped from 36 feet. Drena’s Instagram post was met with an outpouring of birthday wishes from fans and admirers.
