Mark Consuelos, according to Kelly Ripa, was ‘extremely jealous’ at the beginning of their 26-year marriage.

The two discussed how jealousy could be difficult to overcome in a relationship in the inaugural episode of Kelly’s SiriusXM podcast, Let’s Chat Off Camera.

They said that in order for them to overcome obstacles and keep their marriage strong, communication is crucial.

 

They discussed their relationship’s conflict resolution strategies and how their ability to be honest with one another has kept them together throughout the episode.

They both know that telling the truth to each other is essential to maintaining a happy and healthy marriage, even though it hasn’t always been easy.

52-year-old Kelly Ripa and 51-year-old Mark Consuelos believe their marriage has gotten stronger over time. They’ve resolved any problems by being honest with each other and working hard. Ripa’s jealousy was a major point of contention between them.

It was difficult for her to accept this, and it was a horrible situation for Consuelos to be in.

Fortunately, if everyone put in effort and was prepared to understand one another’s perspectives, they could get past it.

The waiter’s kind remarks for her caused him and the older man to argue. Kelly was not happy that he chose to make things worse instead of expressing his admiration for her.

Envy consumed Mark Consuelos when he was twenty-five years old. He was angry at his feelings and realized it was a weakness in his character, but he was unable to get rid of them.

 

Eventually, he made the decision to work on himself, which changed his viewpoint and allowed him to master his emotions.

Ripa agreed, blaming her actions on coming from a “notoriety of hanger-uppers” in her childhood. Nevertheless, they both quickly clarified that none of the complaints had ever been significant enough for them to view it as a deal-breaker.

He claimed that because of its accountability, people are prevented from reverting to previous habits.

 

Through counseling, they can strengthen their relationships and modify their behavior.
